Launching with a pilot cohort next year, the Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program will provide selected seniors from Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, and Pacific Beach High Schools with specialized training and hands-on experience tailored to precision manufacturing careers. Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to step directly into high-demand roles manufacturing critical components and precision products for national security systems, unmanned aircraft systems, advanced industrial equipment, and next-generation semiconductors—all sectors poised for rapid growth along the Central Coast.
